The Fourth Commandment, Keeping the Sabbath

Here in Cheltenham , England were i am based, i had the privilege of hearing some excellent preaching and exposition of the ten commandments in the last 12 Sundays. I have been very much edified by the sermons that i want to share with you if you are a regular reader of my blog and follower. I trust that this sermon concerning the Sabbath and how we should defend it and keep it, preached on the 28th of August 2016 by Pastor Mehrshahi, will encourage you to see that keeping the fourth commandment which  is relevant for us today. Pastor Mehrshahi has been the main preaching elder and pastor of the church since August 2007. He is a native of Iran and is the chairman of Parsa Trust, translating, publishing and distributing Evangelical and Reformed literature throughout the world. He preached on Exodus 20:8-11 and expounded to us the importance of the Sabbath.

That it is repeated often in the Scriptures and it is in the Fourth Commandment of the Ten must bear a fact of it’s importance. He also teaches from the Scriptures how God established it and how this command applies for us today. This is the first part of a series of sermons on keeping the Sabbath.
